Classes are on Thursday nights, 6:30 - 9 PM. Each class will discuss elements that are considered "essential" for a "good" painting. Following each discussion, participants will be encouraged to go beyond (or short of) the rules, to be creative and to dare to be different. Watercolor, pastel. acrylics or oil.

Watercolor and Wine:  Experimenting with watercolor techniques while creating your own painting of "Flowers".

Participants will bring three different reds, three yellows and three blues plus white. Emphasis will be on color mixing with the primaries (red,yellow and blue) to make hundreds of other colors: Warm/ cool, light/ dark, intense/ muted.

Paintings and Pinot noir: Creating your unique work-of-art with pastel

Take home a pastel painting of "Mugs" or "Windows" created in your own style and colors.               

Collage and Chardonnay:  Using your personal photos in designing an art collage. Participants will create a collage using memorabilia from home. Advice will be given on composition and technique.
